The duration of the performance shall be between 25 to 30 minutes.
Timing will begin as soon as the signal is given or the team starts giving the
introduction, whichever is earlier.
Strict adherence to clearing the stage after the performance is required.
Up to 15 minutes will be allowed for stage setting and removal of sets and properties
after taking charge of the stage.
The number of participants should not exceed 9.
A maximum of five accompanists is permitted.
Accompanists will either speak from the background or play musical instruments for
background music;
they shall not appear on the stage.
The participating team shall bring their own sets, stage properties, makeup materials,
etc.
Light and general properties, such as ordinary furniture, may be provided upon prior
request.
Participants may speak in Hindi, English, or any regional language of India.
If a regional language is used, a synopsis of the play with a translation in English or
Hindi must be submitted
to the competition in-charge on the day of registration.
Judgement will primarily be based on the qualities of the play, such as theme, acting,
stagecraft, design,
and overall impression.
Skit
Only one entry per university is allowed.
A maximum of 6 participants are allowed to participate in this item.
The duration of the performance shall be between 8 to 10 minutes.
Time allowed for stage setup, instrument arrangement, sound check, and overall
readiness,
as applicable, shall not exceed 5 minutes.
A maximum of three accompanists is permitted.
Use of makeup, drapery, and background music is allowed. However, personal remarks,
aspersions,
character assassination, etc., are not permitted.
The participating team should submit three copies of the synopsis of the skit’s theme,
along with the language of presentation (Hindi or English), on the day of registration.
The item will be judged primarily on qualities such as theme, acting, stagecraft,
design,
and overall impression.
Vulgarity or bitter insinuations in the presentation should be strictly avoided.
Only innocent satire or humour is expected.
Mime
Only one entry per university is allowed.
A maximum of 6 participants are allowed to participate in this item.
A maximum of two accompanists is permitted.
The duration of the performance shall be between 4 to 5 minutes.

and overall readiness, as applicable, shall not exceed 1 minute.
Judgement will primarily be based on qualities such as idea,
creativity of presentation, use of makeup, music, and general
impression.
Mimicry
Only one entry per university is allowed.
The duration of the performance shall be between 4 to 5 minutes.
Participants may mimic sounds of machines, speeches of well-known persons, including
film personalities.
Marking will be based on skill of imitation, variety of sounds and voices imitated, and
overall presentation.
Time allowed for stage setup, instrument arrangement, sound check, and overall
readiness, as applicable,
shall not exceed 2 minutes.
