Guided by the vision “To promote entrepreneurial spirit amongst youth, researchers, engineers, and society at large by supporting cutting-edge technology and non-technology startups leading to the economic and social development of the country,” Chitkara University established the Chitkara Innovation Incubator Foundation (CIIF) in 2015.
Registered as a Section-8 company under the Companies Act, CIIF was soon recognized as a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. Additionally, it earned recognition from the Ministry of Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME), further solidifying its status as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Chitkara University boasts strong linkages with a variety of stakeholders, including technology companies, venture capital firms, R&D laboratories, and other incubators. This robust network facilitates collaboration and accelerates the growth of startups across diverse domains such as Agritech, Healthtech, Edtech, Deeptech, and Fintech.
