About the Conference

Chitkara School of health sciences at Chitkara University, Punjab has been organizing Advanced Diagnostic Techniques (ADT) Symposium every year, since its inception in 2012. This Symposium has been continuing to encourage the young and innovative minds pursuing career in science and technology, by providing a suitable platform to present their research work and enhance their scientific acumen through interaction with the eminent scientists and field experts. This year we proudly invite you to the upgraded version of ADT symposium which is now going to be an INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

ADT-2023 (Supported by IBRO)

The theme of the 11th International ADT Conference is “Emerging Trends in Neuro-Rehabilitation: An Allied Healthcare Perspective”, which aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, scholars and students to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Neuro-Rehabilitation. This year we are proud to announce that ADT-2023 is partly sponsored by the International Brain Research Organization (IBRO). IBRO is the global association of neuroscience societies that has been promoting and supporting neuroscience around the world through training, education, research, outreach and engagement activities.

ADT-2023 will provide a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, health practitioners, educators and students to present their research work and participate in panel discussions on the recent innovations, trends, concerns and solutions in the field of Neuro-Rehabilitation. Neuro-rehabilitation caters to a complex set of arrangements based on therapeutic-targeted actions that are applied to persons living with neurological diseases, in order to restore or/and compensate for their disabilities. More treatment strategies and therapeutic interventions need to be standardised and provided with a patient centric approach, wherein home-based and tele-rehabilitation protocols could replace long stays in medical centres. Regular advancements in rehabilitation procedures and practices are an important need of the society which could benefit the clinicians, allied health care professionals and the patients, enabling them to take control in the management of their condition in diverse situations.

The conference intends to bring together both national and international researchers, health practitioners, educators and students to deliver papers and spark debates about recent trends and breakthroughs in Rehabilitation procedures. It will include a variety of presentations on current research projects, as well as engaging discussions and keynote addresses. We envision that this conference will give an excellent chance for researchers from various domains of Health Sciences to exchange ideas and find useful collaborations in this endeavour of ours.

In the year 2002, Chitkara Educational Trust established its Punjab campus 30 kilometres from Chandigarh, on the Chandigarh–Patiala National Highway. In the year 2010 Chitkara University was established by the Punjab State Legislature under “The Chitkara University Act”. Chitkara University, the best university in Punjab is a government-recognized university with the right to confer degrees as per the Sections 2(f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act, 1956. The University offers multi-disciplinary programs, all of which are designed to be industry- relevant. As a result of this student-centric approach, Chitkara University is renowned as one of the best private universities in the North India region. From business management programs to programs in nursing and health sciences; and from computer science, electronics and mechanical engineering programs, to hotel management and architecture—Chitkara University, Punjab is a veritable cornucopia of educational services.

The University has at the centre of its philosophical core the commitment to excellence in education. It is the strong academic heritage of the University, and such firmness on matters of principles that has seen it grow from strength to strength in such a short span of time. Being ranked as an A+ University by NAAC isn’t something that the Chitkara University team arrived in one day, one month or one year. It is testimony of the vision and guidance of the leadership and years of incessant hard work, devotion, and commitment of the entire team. Our recent success is a reflection of the standards that are being followed as a part of academic delivery in our university. Chitkara University has also bagged the 2nd rank in the prestigious ATAL ranking of institutions in innovation achievement (ARIIA) released by Ministry of Education, Government of India. This milestone is an outcome of our university’s relentless focus on fostering innovation and encouraging students to solve real world problems. But beyond an individual accomplishment, this accreditation reaffirms our position among the forerunners in the bigger change that is envisaged for the education system of our country.

Established in 2011, Chitkara School of Health Sciences is exclusively dedicated to the education of health care professionals. We envision training and developing health care professionals who can create a difference in the quality of life of all those who require healthcare.
