Matrix: A Club of Department of Computer Applications

The Matrix is a club for future technocrats; for people who have the passion and zeal to excel in co-curricular activities, besides achieving academic excellence.

The Department of Computer Applications had a long-standing wish to find a platform for its students where they could rediscover themselves and nurture their skills. It was the collective efforts of the students of the MCA and BCA Programs—along with support from the faculty—that led to the formation of the first-ever club of the Department on 15 February, 2007.

This club is a place to develop such qualities as will make the club-members confident and motivated to achieve success in their respective fields. It works by the principle of freedom of expression, and assists the dreamers realize their dreams. It provides a platform where students can exploit their talents and pursue their inner calling.

Within three years of its formation, the club has reached great heights and has successfully organized a number of events. It continually provides opportunities to students to have fun and grow their skills to gain knowledge—all at the same time.
The Matrix has proved to be the perfect place to provide the youth with a correct vision for the future, and synchronize their energy and their innovative ideas. The club serves the purpose of nurturing the blooming professionals of tomorrow, and will continue to so.
