Flight Lieutenant Jasmeet Kaur honoured at Chandigarh

It was a moment of pride for Flt Lt Jasmeet Kaur, an alumni of Chitkara University, as she was honoured for being the first woman Air Force officer from Dera Bassi and being an example of a daughter who lives with dignity and pride. Sukhmani Engineering College honoured 51 families for having single daughter at a function organised to mark the “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” drive and her family was one of them.

She finished her engineering from Chitkara University and cleared the Air Force entrance test, along with getting letters from both Army and the Navy to join the forces as an officer.

She stated that, “I am grateful to my alma mater for being a source of strength and prompt me to be more and explore my potential at every stage of life.”

Flt Lt Jasmeet is married to an Air Force officer and is posted at Rajasthan serving her country with pride. The University congratulates Flt Lt Jasmeet for her feat and wishes her luck for future.
