An Intelligent Urea Spreading Machine

To reduce the consumption of urea in the agricultural farms, a patented technology has been developed using image acquisition and image processing. It detects the presence of green crops and initiate spraying of the fertilizer from an automatic electronic device. The electronic system has been designed and tested to carry out even spraying of the fertilizers. Presently at TRL 5, the proposed device was quarter-finalist in one of the leading national level competition – IICDC 2018.
