Automatic Bottle Labelling Machine

In MSME industries, full scale automation is not yet implemented resulting in low efficiency and slow processing speed of the machines, limited flexibility, less accuracy, high rejection rate, etc. It is important that latest automation technologies get incorporated in MSME industries, and one such solution has been developed for bottle-labeling machine in pharmaceutical industry with an objective to improve the labeling speed and reduce the rejection rate.

To achieve this, retrofitting has been done by replacing the existing stepper motors with high speed servo motors. Variable frequency drives have been incorporated to regulate the speed of the AC induction motors, high speed programmable logic controller has been used to improve the accuracy of operation. The designed human machine interface features recipe functions to process different products with easy changeover facility. The team has the expertise to do similar retrofitting for other types of machines as well.
