Facilitated a Meeting with the Rajindra Mahendra Gymkhana Club, Patiala

DST-funded Chitkara University Technology Enabling Center (CU-TEC) facilitated a meeting of the Hospitality department of our university with the Rajindra Mahendra Gymkhana Club (150 years old royal club having 3000 elite members of Patiala city). The objective of the meeting was to discuss a proposal for training the staff of the club on F&B services. CU-TEC works very closely with the Patiala Industry Association (PIA). The president of PIA – Mr. H.S. Lamba approached us with this requirement of upgrading the F&B services of their club.

From Chitkara University, Dr. Sagar Juneja (Assistant Dean, CURIN and Coordinator, CU-TEC), Mr. Amit Vashishth (Principal, Chitkara School of Hospitality), Mr. Parul Chawla (Assistant Manager, CU-TEC) and Dr. Ravi (Chitkara School of Hospitality) attended this meeting.

From Rajindra Mahendra Gymkhana Club, their current President – Dr. Sukhdip Singh Boparai, Vice President – Dr. Neeraj Goyal, General Secretary - Harpreet Singh Sandhu, Joint Secretary -Dr. Sanjay Bansal and Treasurer- Er. AP Garg attended the meeting.

On Feb 1, CU-TEC enabled a consultancy project of INR 1,00,000/- from RMGC, Patiala for the Hospitality Department of the university. A team from Rajindra Mahendra Gymkhana Club visited the University and approved the project proposal.
