Development of Wi-Fi based Sensors for Medical Applications

There is a need for the development of different sensors for medical applications locally because of the market potential, which is available. Two such sensors, which can be taken up include -

a) Wi-Fi based temperature sensor that will monitor the temperature of the incubators in the hospitals and will alert hospital staff in case the temperature exceeds the set limit. The size of the receiver should not exceed 120mm (length) X 15mm (diameter).

b) Wi-Fi based level sensors to remotely monitor the drip-bottle levels.
