Chitkara University Showcased Industry-ready Innovations at MACHMA 2025 EXPO
November 14 to 17, 2025

DST funded Chitkara University Technology Enabling Centre (CU-TEC), which aims to promote industry academia collaborations for joint development of technologies, enabled participation of several teams from Chitkara University in MACHMA 2025 EXPO, held at Chandigarh from November 14 to 17, 2025.

The expo featured over 250 industry exhibits and 50+ academia exhibits, and it served as a great confluence of industry-academia collaborations.

We nominated some teams from Chitkara University to participate in the expo that have industry ready solutions with them –

On Day 1 (Nov 14): A team headed by Chanpreet Singh and comprising Dr. Deepinder Singh, Ravi Goyal, Dakshaj Chandel and Lakshay Sharma, showcased NewGen IEDC innovations.

On Day 2 (Nov 15): Dr. Jyotsna Kaushal and Dr. Satyam along with their teams showcased initiatives at Central Instrumentation Facility. Dr. Naveen Kumar and Shivam Sharma, showcased their innovations supported under various funding schemes.

On Day 3 (Nov 16): A start-up supported by CIIF and DST TEC, Green Innovotech Pvt. Ltd., showcased their solutions.

On Day 4 (Nov 17): Dr. Pooja Mahajan and her team showcased solutions from CoE for Sustainability. Dr. P.K. Khosla Sir, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur and her student, showcased AR/VR solutions from 3CR.

Dr Krishna Kanth Pulicherla – Scientist E, DST and Coordinator of TEC at DST, also attended the exhibition on Day 4, and delivered a brief address during a session on industry-academia meet, which was attended by Dr. Sagar Juneja and his team – Chanpreet Singh and Lovit Kumar.
