World AIDS Day organized at Chitkara University

World AIDS Day is held on 1 December each year and it is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, show their support for people living with HIV and to commemorate people who have died. World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day and the first one was held in 1988.

World AIDS Day is an opportunity for you to learn the facts about HIV and put your knowledge into action. Chitkara School of Health Sciences organized the day at Chitkara University.

The event saw an informational skit enacted by the students of Chitkara School of Health Sciences, a small quiz that focused on spreading awareness on AIDS and a musical dance and drama performance by the students.
