Workshop on “Building Lean, Green, & Digital Hospitals” throws light on innovative hospital practices

Chitkara University, in collaboration with Monash University, Australia, organised a workshop on “Building Lean, Green, and Digital Hospitals” at Fortis Hospital, Mohali, on February 10th, 2023.

The workshop involved 40 hospital representatives from the region, including Chitkara University, PGIMER Chandigarh, and Fortis Hospital Mohali. Monash University led the workshop, providing expert insights and facilitating group discussions on the implementation of lean, green, and digital healthcare practices in hospitals. They also discussed the current situation and strategic approach for the commencement of change.

The expert panel for the workshop had Prof Amrik Singh Sohal, Professor Monash University, Australia; Prof Julie Wolfram Cox, Professor Monash University, Australia; Prof Glen Croy, Associate Professor Monash University Australia; Dr. Geoff Cox-Vascular Surgeon, Melbourne, Australia; Dr. Janet Hsuan, Orthopedic Surgeon, Box Hill Hospital Melbourne, Australia; Dr. Mahesh Devnani, Associate Professor Department of Hospital Administration, PGIMER Chandigarh; Prof Keerti Bhusan Pradhan, Healthcare Management Professor, Chitkara University, Punjab and Dr. Shweta Prabhakar, Head Quality & Patient Safety, Fortis Hospital Mohali.

Following the workshop, participants received advisory services from Monash and Chitkara University and had their queries addressed.
