Workshop organised in collaboration with Glasgow Caledonian University, UK

The Office of International Affairs at Chitkara University and Glasgow Caledonian University, UK, jointly conducted a project workshop today to establish a research focus group on the impact of the uptake of electric vehicles on energy demand and sector decarbonization.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Anand Singh, AGM-Smart Grid and Electric Mobility, Professor Jim Baird, Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering and Environmental Management, Professor Mohamed Emad Farrag, Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Andrew Quinn, Lecturer and International Lead in the Department of Applied Science.

The workshop was attended by students from engineering departments, along with faculty members of Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network, CURIN. Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, and Dr. Varinder Kanwar, Vice Chancellor of Chitkara University, Himachal Pradesh, also attended the workshop and participated in the panel discussion.
