Workshop on ISENSOBOTZ
IEEE Student Chapter of Chitkara Department of Computer Science & Engineering organised a two-day workshop on ‘ISENSOBOTZ’.
Pedagogue Mr. Himanshu Pandey, who is presently working as a Head of Research & Development department at ARK Techno Solutions, conducted workshop comprising of hands on session on Robotics.
About 20 teams comprising 100 students from various colleges participated in this workshop. Many tactics and stratagems to construct a robot such as Line Follower Bot, Obstacle Follower Bot, Photo Phobic Bot were intensely taught by him and kits were provided to each team.
On the second day of the workshop, a championship was organized at Zonal Level in which a task was given to move a robot in various directions. Every participant was very excited and in a jubilant mood to explore their talent, which they executed for the very first time in their life.
Team 1 comprising students namely Vinayak Singla, Abhijit Aggarwal, Nishant Bhardwaj, Nidhi Gupta and Mohit Kumar and team 2 comprising of students Abhishek Pandey, Deven Wadhwa, Chirag Mantri, Devasheesh Puri and Dhananjay Kajal were nominated as winners, which will further engage in National Robotic Championship to be held at IIT Bombay. The winner of the championship would be awarded a prize money of Rs one lacs.
