Workshop on “Dining Etiquette” organised by Chitkara School of Hospitality.

Many business functions take place in dining situations, whether it’s meeting an employer or networking with colleagues at a formal event. Chitkara School of Hospitality organized a workshop for all the hostlers as a part of Hostel Activity.

In this workshop, the students were taught the basic rules of dining etiquette and they learnt the skills to apply these rules to professional dining situations. It was aimed to provide with the knowledge, self confidence and skills needed for a successful social and business life.

Topics covered were- attire in formal dining, body language in dining atmosphere, meet and greet, table setting, usage of cutlery, crockery and glassware on table, ordering the dishes and how to eat in formal atmosphere.

The workshop was facilitated by Mr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Asst. Professor and Mr. Ravi Dandotiya, Sr. Lecturer, Chitkara School of Hospitality.
