It was a war of words during Toastmasters discussion

With Toastmasters organizing various discussions and debates in Chitkara University, it was time for our hospitality students to show their oratory skills.

Cicero said, “A great orator is pointed and impassioned.”
Young ambitious students from Chitkara School of Hospitality bee-lined to display and voice their thoughts and opinions in Group Discussions organized by Toastmasters Chitkara.

The first topic led into a discussion on ‘Advertising and its importance’. The students played the devil’s advocate and voiced their opinion on the topic ‘Women empowerment is increasing the divorce rate.’

It is believed that you are a good speaker if your tongue can deliver the message of your heart and there were two speakers who could achieve this feat; the first prize was bagged by Manik and the second by Mayank. The other participants were able to express their thoughts at the discussion, which was hosted by Rishabh and Shubham.

Overall, the discussion proved to be a learning experience for all our participants.
