Two HSRT batches successfully complete their program

Two batches of HSRT program got culminated on May 16, 2015, and the valediction was held at the University’s campus. The Chief Guest Dr. MadhuChitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, awarded certificates to the participants and also gave away a stipend to participants upon successful completion of the course.

So far, 261 young people have been trained and many of them are profitably placed in Hospitality Industry. The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India and Punjab Heritage Tourism Promotion Board, have launched some short job-oriented training programmes to create employable skills in hospitality trades, which are conducted at the designated Institutes of Hotel Management.

In this regard, courses in various trades are conducted at Chitkara School of Hospitality, which is affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

Chitkara School of Hospitality has taken the initiative oftraining young men and women in short term programs in hospitality CSR for providing employment to our unemployed youth and to provide trained manpower to unorganized sector of the hospitality industry. The program is run under the Ministry of Tourism, Govt. ofIndia Huner Se RozgarTak Scheme.
