Toastmasters start the year with GOOD BEGININGS

Everyone at Chitkara University believes that good seasons start with good beginnings. Following this belief, Toastmasters Chapter, Chitkara University, Punjab, hosted a meeting. The meeting was convened by Toastmaster Rahul, the prepared speakers for the day were Raghav, Tushar and Divjot of whom Divjot walked away with the best speaker award.

The word of the day was ‘glum’ and the idiom of the day was ‘let the bygones be bygone’; they were given by Shubham Pandey. Sahil came with the Pandora’s box of table topics and the speakers who took the bull by the horn were Shubham Rana, Rishabh Dhuper, Gaurav, Anumeha, Ekanksh, Shubham Pandey, Harman, Hemant and Hanish. Anumeha who was the grammarian for the day was also declared the best table topic speaker. Rishabh was the timer and the AAH counter was taken into account by Hemant.

Toastmasters said that this was just the beginning, there is more to come very soon.
