Toastmasters meet again to usher into the new academic session
After the semester break, once again the Chitkarians gathered to usher the new academic session for their very own Toastmasters club.
As Independence Day is around the corner, the club members forayed the session with expressing their views on Freedom and Independence in contemporary connotation. Shiven, Arjit, Parul and Noordeep were the key speakers of the day.
Freedom’, be it from fellow humans, prevalent customs, way of life or society, is a word that symbolizes man’s inherent nature and eccentricity. It is a feeling that has been experienced and expounded differently by different people: freedom- the ultimate goal of thousands of revolutions, the ideal that inflamed the minds of myriads of nameless, faceless people and their illustrious leaders.
The Toastmasters’ speak- “The freedom to speak without fear of failure or mockery is the focus of our meetings, come and experience what it means to be a free speaker!”
