Toastmasters International Club organised a Pictionary contest for the 4th sem students of health sciences
Impromptu speaking is an art which is essential for any field today. It’s not easy to conquer but it isn’t impossible either. The one who has the competency to address the topic under concern without drifting and is able to put his thoughts crisply will definitely inspire the audience. Chitkara University Toastmasters International Club has been helping the students since 2013 to develop their thought process and on the feet thinking along with exemplary communication skills through hosting various events throughout the University.
This prestigious club organized Pictionary contest for the students of health sciences 4th Semester, where the students were shown a picture and were given 30 seconds to ponder their thoughts after which they were expected to speak on it for 2-3 minutes. The Event was well appreciated by the contestants as they went through the roller coaster ride of thoughts experiencing the adrenaline rush altogether. The Event helped them to work on their spontaneity, thinking on feet skills, reasoning and critical thinking along with public speaking and confidence boosting.
Kiranpreet Kaur was declared the best speaker while Muskaan and Akash Sharma emerged as the second and the third Best speakers respectively.
