Toastmasters International Biographies and Press Conference Season-6
Chitkara University witnessed a momentous morning when Toastmasters International Biographies and Press Conference Season-6 yet again provided a platform to the students where they could exhibit their creativity and verbal dexterity. The ardent participants portrayed illustrious personalities from all walks of life through a speech and thereafter, the participants were interviewed by a panel of resourceful journalists where a volley of interesting and controversial questions was asked by the participants. The detailed and extensive research of the students along with their astounding performances created a historical ambience and gave a real touch to the event.
The Guest of Honour, Mr. Mahesh Dattani, a phenomenal Director, Actor, Playwright and Writer graced the occasion with his illuminating presence and was mighty impressed by the way the participants imbibed the whole character. Students were fortunate enough to seek the blessings of Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab, as the Chief Guest of the event. The brilliant students competed and conquered the stage with their stimulating and inspirational speeches.
Nincy Philip from Chitkara College of Pharmacy (8th Semester), Namrata Sharma from BCom (6th Semester) and Rahul Sharma from BBA (2nd Semester) were awarded as the best, second best and third best speakers respectively. Also, Varun Pratap Singh from ECE (4th Semester), Simren Preet Kaur from Chitkara School of Mass Communication (2nd Semester) and Rishabh Gaba from Chitkara College of Pharmacy (2nd Semester) were awarded as the best, second best and third best journalists respectively.
