Toastmasters Club hosts event at Chitkara University, Punjab

It has been observed that everyone has their own way of expression. We all have a lot to say, but finding ways to say is more than half the battle won. Another meeting was hosted by the Toastmasters Club at Chitkara University, Punjab, at Fleming block. Burn Philips has said that “Winning is only half of it, the other half is having fun”, the theme for the day was centered around – ‘FUN’.

The event saw young toastmasters progressing into voicing their opinions on leadership roles. Toastmaster of the day was Rishabh from Mechanical Engineering and the prepared speakers of the day were three Mechanical Engineers in the making, Rahul, Arjit and Shubham Pandey. Along with them, budding Pharmacist Noordeep Sodhi also voiced her opinion on leadership roles under the prepared speech category. The ‘Table Topic’ master was Shubham Rana, who was assisted by grammarian Raghav, time in-charge was Akshay and speech evaluators were Shiven, Aditi, Neha and Laveena.
It made the table topics round challenging and interesting and the best-prepared speaker of the event was Arjit.
