Three day IUCEE – IIECP Pre certification workshop conducted by Dr Archana Mantri

Teachers are always looked upon as the abundant resources of gaining knowledge and guidance. But if teaching style is structured organically, it can very well bring to the fore many hidden talents, both for the teachers and for the students.

Keeping this in mind Dr Archana Mantri, Pro Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University Research and Innovation Network (CURIN), Chitkara University conducted a three-day IUCEE – IIECP Pre-Certification Workshop in Rajkot, Gujarat.

The workshop saw active participation from 35 Engineering educators from a private University. The workshop spread light on a range of topics such as Learning Styles, Teaching Philosophy statement, Collaborate learning, Layout of an effective lecture, Classroom management techniques and assessment technologies.

The pre-certification workshop has been designed to let the participants glance through to the full-fledged six-month duration certification program by IUCEE. Dr Mantri teaches the modules on “Elements of Course Design’ and Collaborative Learning’ in the certification program.

This workshop was fifth in the series. Earlier, she has conducted similar ones at Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Patiala and Bangalore. More such workshops are in the offing in the near future.
