Thirty students awarded certificates for their 8 weeks training programme of “Hunar-Se-Rozgar Tak” at CSH

Another Batch of Thirty students were awarded certificates for successfully completing 8 weeks training programme in Bakery and Confectionery, under the “Hunar-Se-Rozgar Tak” skill development programme. As part of CSR, Chitkara School of Hospitality under Ministry of Tourism initiative conducts free of cost various skill development programs for the unemployed youth of this region.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University blessed the occasion with her benign presence and gave away the certificates along with a stipend of Rs. 2000 each to the successful candidates. She shared her views about the importance of this skill oriented course and its scope to get employment.

Mr. C.M. Bhan, Director- Principal of Chitkara School of Hospitality, was also present on this occasion. He shared the statistical report of this training program and placement records. With the assistance of the University most of the students have been placed in different food and beverage related outlets.

Overall, it’s a boon to the less educated youth to enhance their skills and become employable.
