TechXplore 2014’ spreads revolution
as a part of its Global Engineering Week, Chitkara University, Punjab, organized the TechXplore’14, on the 13th-14th November, 2014.
The aim of the event was to spread the revolution of knowledge and how it can truly empower a nation.
This was a continuous 30-hour fest consisting of a wide variety of events covering technical elements such as robotics, programming, logic and design and construction among others in collaboration with several international societies and clubs.
With prizes worth over 12 lacs, it witnessed a participation of over 4,000 students from various institutions across the nation, including PEC, UIET Chandigarh, NIT, Sri Ram College and BITS Pilani among others. TechXplore ’14 kicked off on 13th November, along with stellar performances by many renowned artists, including the Skeletons, RJ Abhimanyu and also the Bandits.
It also included a performance by a BMX stunt group and an RC-Air show, all of which combined to give a befitting start to one of the most awaited technical fests in the region.
The fest then unfolded into an all-night LAN Gaming championship in various games. TechXplore ’14 witnessed many technical events and competitions, with jury comprising of some of the most renowned international professors who were in the University as a part of the ‘Global Engineering Week’. TechXplore ’14 concluded on a high note in an EDM/Sunburn night where Shaan, India’s youngest artist of Tomorrowland fame, who performed amongst an energetic crowd.
