Teacher’s Day Celebrations at Chitkara University.

Teacher’s day was celebrated at Chitkara University with full gusto, on September 5, 2020.

It was a cultural event seeking participation from the university’s teachers.

To provide the University’s faculty an opportunity of parallel growth, fitness and recreation, this year Office of Student Affairs in collaboration with University Sports Board, Chitkara University, Punjab under Fit India Movement celebrated this day, honouring our Teachers by organising various games at the Sportorium on 4th September, 2020. Deans, Faculty and staff members from different departments participated in this event. Different games were played by them like Badminton, Chess, Table Tennis, Dart and Pool table.

The winners were felicitated with Certificates and prizes.
In Badminton, under men section first position was bagged by Mr.Sahil Mehta, and second position was bagged by Mr.Inder Singh(CSHM). Under Women, first position was won by Ms.Setu Sharma(CSHM) and second position was won by Ms.Manpreet Kaur(CULC).

In Chess the first position was bagged by Mr.Vineet Raj (CSAD) and second position was bagged by Mr.Varinder Singh(CCP)

In Table Tennis, the first position was shared by Ms.Preethi (CSHS) and Mr. Parminder Singh(CSAD). Whereas, Ms.Inder Bala (CSHS) and Mr.Rajneesh achieved the second position.

In Pool table, Mr. Gourav Kumar(Department of Branding) came first and Mr. Anoop Kumar(CSHM) came second.

In Dart tournament under Men section, first position was shared by Mr. Rohit Agnish(CSHS) and second position was achieved by Mr. Dharam Singh(CSHS). Under Women section, Ms.Tanya(CURIN) achieved the first position and , second position was achieved by Ms.Vidhyotma(CA).

Whole faculty of Chitkara University had participated in the cultural event.
