Students win kudos at SAP MILE DKOM event, Bengaluru, for project work

Two Teams from Chitkara University showcased their project in prestigious SAP MILE DKOM event at KTPO, Whitefield at Bengaluru and added a feather to their cap by winning vouchers of Rs 30,000 and Rs 25,000.

Out of total 100 projects from 25 colleges and universities from India, two projects from our University were selected to be displayed at the prestigious SAP MILE DKOM event at KTPO, Whitefield in Bangalore.

SAP MILE is a University crowd-sourcing platform. This gives an opportunity for students to participate in a virtual internship where they learn, and experiment on SAP ideas on the platform.

Team 1- “Universal Electronic ‘I’ and ‘Walking Guide’ for the Differently-abled team under Dr. Amitoj Singh and Ms. Vidhyotma comprised Stuti, Stuti Kashyap, Sudhanshu Rai and Sushant Khaneja won a voucher of Rs 30,000.

Team II: “A Security System for Smart Homes” under Dr. Jaiteg Singh and team comprised Jatin Nijhawan, Kashish Jindal, Lakshay and Lakshay Bareja won a voucher prize of Rs 25,000.

SAP says that if a startup can build technology that can connect the dots of a business, then they can sync up with the SAP leadership team in Bangalore.

It was indeed a moment of pride for the entire Chitkara fraternity with the Vice-Chancellor of Chitkara University, Dr Madhu Chitkara congratulating the teams and encouraging them to do more.
