ME students win the 1st position at Student Research Convention ‘National Anveshan 2017-18’ organised by AIU
Vaibhav Sharma and Varishu Chauhan 4th year students of Mechanical Engineering & Sukhdev Singh under the aegis of Dr.Charu Khosla, Department of Applied Sciences bagged the first position by winning a cash prize of Rs 75,000/- at the National Level Student Research Convention ‘Anveshan 2017-18’ in association with the Association of Indian University (AIU), New Delhi held on 14-15th March 2018 at Chitkara University, Punjab.
The Students exhibited their innovation in the Agriculture sector for their project ‘BB Briqs and Improved Biomass Cooking Stove’ he well-researched project represented their vision and their willingness to come forward and do their bit for the society with their smokeless chulhas.
Students Vaibhav & Varishu also won the first position for an innovation in the Agriculture sector for their same project ‘BB Briqs and Improved biomass cooking stove’ in the ‘Anveshan 2017-18 North Zone Student Research Convention’ organised by AIU from February 26- 27th 2018 at Manav Rachna International University (MRIIRS),Faridabad, Haryana.
The most coveted student research Convention ‘National Anveshan 2017-18′ at Chitkara University, total 62 selected top three projects out of the 75 from all five zones of country North, South, East, West and Central were showcased from more than 60 different Universities/Colleges of India in the five categories viz-a-viz Agriculture, Health Sciences and Allied Fields, Engineering & Technology, Basic Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce and Law.
