Our students stand second in cocktail, mocktail competition held at Ludhiana

Jitendra Dubey and Ankush Kaushal from Chitkara School of ‪Hospitality‬ bagged second prize in Cocktail and Mocktail Competition held during the “Hospitality Olympics” organized by PCTE- Institute of ‪Hotel Management‬, Ludhiana.

There were 15 teams from different colleges of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi NCR that participated in the competition. The competition was organised in the advance kitchen of the PCTE Institute of Hotel Management.

They experimented and came out with exotic cocktails and mocktails and unleashed the mixologist within. The competition was tough and made the judges have a tough time while marking the participants. Jitendra and Ankush however sailed through with ease with their tongue twisting mixture of cocktails and mocktails.

The event had several other competitions too that helped the students showcase diverse cuisines of world and it turned out to be a successful venture. The cocktail and mocktail competition was one of the most appreciated events of the Olympics due to the kind of versatile palate it had to offer.

Our winners stated that through this participation they wanted to spread awareness about mixing cocktails and mocktails as a bright career. The demand of skilled mixologists is increasing day by day.
