Students learn nuances of print world at Aaj Samaj office

Practical learning is as important as theoretical learning, especially in media studies, and this makes Chitkara School of Mass Communication organise various industrial visits and this time it was a visit to the Aaj Samaj office.

50 students of Chitkara School of Mass Communications visited Aaj Samaj office in Ambala where they were welcomed by Ajay Shukla, Chief Editor himself, along with other senior staff.

The students were given a glimpse of the professional print world and were also shown the degree of the news collecting, gathering, writing, publishing, etc. The students were also taken to the printing area where newspaper is printed. They were given information about the printing process. It was an interactive session where students asked question from experienced journalists and designers.

It was an inspiring session and the students said they look forward to more sessions.
