Students learn key processes, steps, techniques for PCB designing & testing during Industrial Visit

Industrial visit helps the students to better visualise and understand the importance and functions of basic electronic components in real-time scenarios. Keeping this in mind, the Society IEI of Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, organised an Industrial visit to DELTRON, Chandigarh. Set up in 1982, Deltron is a Division of Continental Device India Limited (CDIL), the pioneer in manufacturing semiconductor devices in India. The company has the distinction of having a Government of India approved R&D Centre.

During the visit, students were exposed to the latest technology used for PCB designing and testing by Industrial Experts, including the key processes, steps and techniques involved in the process. Students were accompanied by Ms Deeptiprit Kaur, Ms Swati Singh and Prof. T L Singal.
