Students learn how to communicate better

It is important to communicate as it allows us to express and put across our thoughts. To teach the aspects of effective communication to students, Chitkara School of Languages, in collaboration with Toastmasters International, organised a workshop on ‘How to Become an Effective Communicator’.

Ms. Geetanjali Sharma from Chitkara School of Languages conducted the one-hour workshop. The need of the workshop evolved from the fact that effective communication is a game changer in today’s world. Twenty students from various disciplines participated in the workshop.

Real time activities on effective communication in addition to videos led to a freewheeling discussion and put things into perspective. Not only were the students made adept with the brass-tacks but also how to bring into play the dynamics of the same in the contemporary world. There was unbridled enthusiasm in the students who lapped up the proceedings with rapt attention buttressing the need for the workshop.

The workshop proved to be an apt means to let the budding professionals know the significance of communicating effectively that certainly sharpened the communicator within them.
