Students explore the speaker in them

It was certainly a power-packed public speaking event of the Toastmaster International. A competition well competed, a Mechanical Engineering exclusive event, “Group Discussion”, was organized by The Chitkara University Toastmasters Club in Einstein Hall.

The 2012-2013 batch of Mechanical Engineering witnessed the event with full enthusiasm. Rounds of Group Discussions were held on topics ranging from “Virtual Money” to “Impact of Technology on Environment”. The best speaker award was given to “Ketan” and runner-up of the event was “Mohammad”.

The students appreciated the efforts made by the club in direction of their skill enhancement and showed keen interest in many more events to come.

It should be mentioned that Toastmasters’ Club is doing the job of inculcating confidence among students for speaking in public and it is doing the job very well through an array of activities that the club organizes from time to time.
