Students from Deakin University, Australia, visit Chitkara University

Chitkara University recently hosted India study tour of Deakin University, Australia. Students and faculty from Civil Engineering and Mechatronics Engineering participated in the study tour.

Study Tour is an initiative to challenge student’s personal and academic boundary, integrate educational, cultural and practical experiences. The main focus of this program was to give insight about projects and research conducted by Chitkara University.

Activities were scheduled over three days, visiting of both the campuses and meeting with the faculty and students. There was a valuable exchange of ideas between universities through presentations and discussions.

The visiting delegates were highly impressed with the “Live Braille” project presented by the Chitkara University students. The visitors were given the flavour of the local culture with a tour to Virast-e-khalsa which they thoroughly enjoyed.

The ambassadors left with a promise to come back for more projects and stated that their visit to Chitkara University was truly an enriching experience.
