Students clinch overall champions’ trophy at Jaypee University, Solan

There is a very popular adage; All work, no play makes Jack a dull boy, and firmly going by it, Chitkara University has some of the best sports facilities at its campuses. The results are splendid indeed and the recent one is a momentous feat at Jaypee University, Solan.

Chitkara University students emerged overall champions at Parakram, the annual sports fest of Jaypee University. Our students won gold medals in Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton in girls’ category and also won the gold medals in Badminton and Chess in boys’ category.

There were several teams from various colleges and universities and our students surpassed the rest with the hard work and dedication they show in every sphere of their University life. At Chitkara University, sports has become a doorway to instil discipline, responsibility, self-confidence and team spirit. It is an integral part of the Chitkara curriculum. This is the reason why our students win several laurels in sports activities, apart from various other events organized at different colleges and universities. Taking the legacy ahead, PARAKRAM was another platform where we outdid others.
