Students from Chitkara Department of Computer Sciences bags top 2 positions in SAP Mile pilot projects
Chitkara Department of Computer Sciences bags top two Positions in SAP Mile pilot projects. Out of total 100 projects from 25 colleges and universities from India, two projects from our University were selected to be displayed at the prestigious SAP MILE DKOM event at KTPO, Whitefield in Bangalore.
SAP MILE is a University crowd-sourcing platform. This gives an opportunity for students to participate in virtual internship where they learn, and experiment on SAP ideas on the platform.
SAP says that if a startup can build technology that can connect the dots of a business, then they can sync up with the SAP leadership team in Bangalore.
The team, which bagged the first position unveiled their project on “Universal Electronic ‘I’ and ‘Walking Guide’ for differently-abled individuals. The team, guided by Dr. Amitoj Singh and Ms. Vidhyotma Gandhi, comprised of Stuti, Stuti Kashyap, Sudhanshu Rai and Sushant Khaneja of fourth semester CSE.
Project “A Security System for Smart Homes” grabbed the second position. This project was developed under the guidance of Dr. Jaiteg Singh and students who calibrated their skill were Jatin Nijhawan, Kashish Jindal, Lakshay and Lakshay Bareja of sixth semester CSE.
