Our student attends The Facebook F8 Developer Conference in San Francisco, USA

Vardaan Sharma, a second-year student of Chitkara Department of Computer Science and Engineering was selected by Facebook to attend ‘The Facebook F8 Developer Conference in San Francisco, USA’.

He was selected out of handful developers and was granted a scholarship, which covered his ticket to conference and his stay in USA. He was selected to display his work and attend sessions and trainings and was granted access to many newly launched products for free. He was also invited to visit Googleplex in Mountain View, USA.

There were many students who joined the conference at the intersection of creativity and technology. Product experts from Facebook, Instagram, Parse, Oculus, LiveRail and other apps shareed what we’ve learned and built for developers. The students got access to the latest tools, several discussions to help them plan for the next build and beyond. There were many leading developers from around the world at F8. Vardaan got the latest on tools for developers. He has an access to new product demos and thought-provoking discussions that helped him plan for his future as a developer.
