Science Day- SBST 2014’ witnesses grand celebration at Chitkara University

Students and faculty of Chitkara School of Applied Sciences looked at their enthusiastic best during the Science Day’s celebrations at Chitkara University, Punjab. Every year it is celebrated in the form of Symbiosis Between Science & Technology.

The celebrations were graced by none other than Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab. Dr Madhu Chitkara not only attended the celebrations but also proved to be sheer motivation for our students as she delivered words of wisdom to inspire and encourage the students.

The students, under the guidance of faculty advisor and event incharge, organized an array of innovative activities: Project display, Group discussions: Royal wrangle, fun with science, creative posters: Posterize season 3, striking structures as TRUSS and Quiz it season 3. The events proved out to be a platform where students displayed their many sides through the activities that were lined up for them. Towards the end of the event, faculty advisor of SBST 2014, Dr. Jyotsna Kaushal thanked the students and faculty members of applied sciences for all the effort that was put in to make the day a grand success.
