Sahil Arora, Student of Bsc Hospitality & Hotel Administration has won the ‘Young Hotelier’ award at JW Marriott Chandigarh

The prestigious JW Marriott Chandigarh hosted its first “Young Hotelier” event on 27 June 2017. Apart from the hotel’s interns, second and final year hospitality students from Chitkara University were also invited to participate.
The lively and vibrant event was hosted by Mr. Dilpreet Singh, the General Manager of the hotel. All participants got an opportunity to interact with various department heads of the hotel followed by an interesting quiz competition on general knowledge, current affairs and know-how of the global hospitality industry.
There were questions based on the various aspects of hospitality that made the participants explore the hotelier within.
Sahil Arora, 3rd Semester students of B.Sc Hospitality & Hotel Administration (H&HA) brought laurels by winning the quiz competition. As a very special reward, Sahil will be getting an opportunity to spend one full day at work at the hotel.

Other than the quiz, the event was well appreciated by the students as it was informative, fun and was full of activities. Chitkara University strongly believes in being a part of such events as it gives industry exposure to the students that makes them able professionals.
