Refresher course 2016 was organized for 2 year B.Sc. MIT/MLT students

Refresher course 2016 was organized by Chitkara School of Health Science from 21st to 28th June 2016. The course aimed tobrush up the learnings of 2 year B.Sc. academic programme of MIT/MLT students before going for internship. The major subjects like pathology, biochemistry, hematology, microbiology and histopathology along with their respective labs were covered for MLT students. Likewise subjects like positioning, surface anatomy, human anatomy, radiation protection and imaging modalities like CT, MRI etc. were covered for MIT students. Guest faculty Dr. Tariq Hussain from Fortis Mohali was called to cover the practical aspects of Medical Imaging Technology. Some Fun activities were also planned for the students and they participated wholeheartedly. Prizes were given to winners of fun games.

Students were also encouragedby Dr. Meenakshi Sood, HOD CSHS to adhere to the rules and regulations of Fortis Hospital. Log Books were distributed to the students to be filled up during internship.Certificates were given to students for the successful completion of the course. At the end refreshments were provided to the students.
