Rashmi Sharma & Evedeep Kaur, B.E. Fourth Year students honoured with awards at ICGCET-2015, Dubai
It was a moment of pride for Chitkara University as two of our students were honoured for their efforts as budding engineers. Rashmi Sharma, a student of Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering fourth year, got Young Scientist Award-2015 for her publication in the NASA Journal, Scopus and IEEE and Evedeep Kaur Bhatia, a student of Bachelor of Engineering (CSE) fourth year, got the best paper award in conference on Green Computing and Engineering Technology (ICGCET) 25-26 July, 2015, in Dubai.
The main objective of ICGCET’15 was to present the research from different areas of science and technology. This conference provided a platform for researchers and scientists across the world to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of electronics and information technology.
The conference also gave an opportunity to interact and establish professional relations for future collaboration. The conference aimed to promote innovations and work of researchers, engineers, students and scientists from across the world on Advancement in electronic and computer systems. The basic idea of the conference was what more can be done using the existing technology. In Today’s world electronic and computer systems plays an important role for future’s innovation. These systems involve a very wide area for research.
Mr. Bishwajeet Pandey, Amanpreet Kaur, Rashmi Sharma, Simran Ohri, Prakriti Kapoor and Kartik Kalia represented Chitkara University at the conference.
