Radio Chitkara distributed gifts, spread awareness on cleanliness at nearby villages on Diwali

Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM carried out a unique campaign on the occasion of Diwali where its staff and content generation team visited homes of nearby villagers and distributed gifts to those who have maintained cleanliness.

Radio Chitkara distributed 115 gifts (107+8 – 107.8 is frequency =115) in the community and spread importance of cleanliness and insisted that it needs to be inculcated as habit. Villagers also shared their views on Diwali celebrations. Their views and feelings were aired by Radio Chitkara.

With the help of this activity, Radio Chitkara encouraged people to celebrate clean and environment friendly Diwali and not to use crackers, readymade lights and be careful while buying sweets. The team also put forward a thought that we must help needy people.
