Radio Chitkara displays its patriotic side
As the nation celebrated its 68th year of Independence, Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM waved Tricolour high in the sky. As one of its initiatives, Radio Chitkara along with its team members visited a school in a nearby village and celebrated the eve of the Independence Day with students of the school.
On this occasion, a drawing competition based on the theme of “Independence” was organized by Radio Chitkara, where students exhibited their creativity and also expressed their feeling of patriotism. Along with their specially recorded messages, students also sang songs while soaking in the feel of freedom, patriotism and pride. Speaking of this initiative, Principal of the Government School stated that “a day attributed to our nation can only be best spent with the younger ones who are going to safeguard this nation.”
Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM later aired the show to mark the celebrations of India’s Independence Day.
