Radio Chitkara completes one year of successful Radio-listener relationship

It was a proud day for Radio Chitkara 107.8 FM as it has completed one year of broadcasting content through community radio 24 x 7.

Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor was the Chief Guest on the occasion, who appreciated the effort made by the team and students and congratulated all the listeners and encouraged to come forward for active participation.

A video film containing highlights of the one-year journey was showcased and wishes of Dr. Ashok Chitkara, Chancellor of the university, Mr. R.S. Gill, Vice-President University Affairs, Dr. S.C. Sharma, Registrar of Chitkara University, were played.

Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, Dean Chitkara School of Mass Communication said that the journey of radio started last year and has witnessed a commendable programme content and will be enhanced in future.

Mr. Pankaj Garg was the presenter and his show-Galat Hai To Sahi Hai received maximum attention and participation, which was a phone-in contest. Songs were played on request and mimicry done by Rahul Yadav was another attraction. Ms. Rupinder Kaur and Mr. Ranjit Chopra were appreciated for their programming work.

Students took keen interest in the live show, which was handled by Mr. Shyam Dhiman.
