Parth Garg and Nitika Gupta from CSE participated on 30th TIFAC Foundation Day at IIT Delhi

Parth Garg and Nitika Gupta of Chitkara Department of Computer Science & Engineering participated in Seminar on “Impact of Exponential Technologies on the Future of Human Species” on 30th TIFAC Foundation Day at IIT New Delhi.

The seminar included a discussion on a host of exponential technologies such as Additive Manufacturing, 3D printing, Quantum Computing, artificial intelligence, advanced robotics, virtual and augmented reality, alternative energy systems, biotechnology and digital medicine which are growing rapidly.

The event marked the presence of a number of eminent experts like Dr. Anil Kakodkar Chairman, TIFAC), Prof. Ashutosh Sharma (Secretary, DST), Prof. Timothy A. Gonsalves (Director, IIT Mandi), Prof. Prabhat Ranjan (Executive Director, TIFAC), Mr. Prashant Bhushan (Lawyer & Activist) and many more distinguished guests.
It was a wonderful opportunity for our students to get enlightened about the scope and effects of upcoming and emerging exponential technologies on the human race.
