Painting the City Beautiful with His Artistic Skills – a Feat by Prof Ranjan Malik, Dean, CSAD

It is a matter of immense honour for us as Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi has organized a Solo Exhibition of ‘Paintings and Drawings’ by Prof (Dr) Ranjan Kumar Mallik, Dean, Chitkara School of Art & Design, Chitkara University, Punjab. The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Ashok K Chitkara, Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab; Dr Madhu Chitkara, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University, Punjab and Mr Vivek Atray, Former IAS Officer, an Author and a Motivational Speaker, on December 14, 2019, at the Galleries of Lalit Kala Akademi, Sector 38, Chandigarh.

This beautiful exhibition saw in attendance many Senior Artists from the Tricity, Media Personalities, Students, Young Artists and our colleagues from the university and the art world.

This exhibition will showcase the recent drawings and paintings by Prof (Dr) Ranjan Mallik, done mostly in Acrylic medium and some in mixed mediums like Charcoal, Ink and Watercolor on Paper, Board and Canvases. The drawings and paintings cover the subject matters varying from socio-cultural observations to romanticist approaches towards life.

The exhibition is on display till December 31, 2019 on every working day from 10 am to 5 pm. Let us all try to visit this beautiful exhibition and encourage our very own, brilliant in-house artist, Prof (Dr) Ranjan Kumar Mallik.
