Our Theatre Team wins second prize at UIET Panjab University

Another feather added to the official theatre team of Chitkara University, AWAAZ, as they won many accolades for their performance at Goonj, held at UIET, Panjab University. They bagged the second prize for their splendid performance.

It was indeed a brilliant and fascinating performance in UIET by C2S2. C2S2 also represented Chitkara University by qualifying for National Theatre Fest at Christ University, Bengaluru, under the dynamic patronage of DSW.

The fest at Bengaluru was a three-day cultural, literary, technical, theatre and fine arts event which has a plethora of competitions in which students of all age groups will participate and win prizes up to 3 lakh Indian rupees.

Official Theatre Club (Awaaz) of Chitkara University will be there competing with several teams. Teams will be participating in two categories: Proscenium and Street Theatre.

The fest is a grooming ground for theatre enthusiasts. The National Theatre Festival, Baptizer- A dip into Theatre, which has been in existence for over half a decade, is designed to be both competitive and collaborative.

The festival is being hosted by Christ University in collaboration with Script Peoples Theatre. We wish luck to Awaaz for their upcoming event at Bengaluru.

Another feat was Pranav Miglani’s achievement as he represented Chitkara University at Goonj and won the first prize in the debate competition called ‘Speak out’ and was awarded cash prize of Rs 10,000.
