NSS volunteers organise Blood Donation Camp, collect 100 Units of ‘life saver’
As an earnest endeavour to serve humanity, the NSS Department and Seagulls Activity Club of Chitkara Business School, Chitkara University organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh.
More than 150 students registered for the noble cause. Total of 100 units of blood was collected by volunteers who enthusiastically participated and came forward to manage the event and support society for their life-saving gift of blood. The volunteers were from BBA & B Com students from Chitkara Business School.
Hon’ble Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University; visited the camp, motivated everyone and asked the volunteers to continue spreading awareness regarding this noble cause. She also appreciated the donors for their enthusiasm and great spirit and their whole-hearted endeavour for this humanitarian task.
Dr. S.C. Sharma, Registrar, Chitkara University; and Dr. K.K. Sharma, Dean, Chitkara Business School; also visited and motivated the donors at the camp.
