NSS department organises an Oath-Taking Ceremony on Drug Abuse Prevention on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day
NSS department of Chitkara University organized an oath-taking ceremony on Drug Abuse Prevention. It’s a matter of great honour for us to be able to contribute to the society and pays respect to the great freedom fighters martyr Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on the occasion of Martyrs’ Day (Shaheedi Diwas).
Dr. S C Sharma, Registrar Chitkara University, graced the occasion with their presence and became the torchbearer for students to follow them and enthusiastically took part in the event. Col. Rakesh Sharma, Associate Director University Affairs, motivated the students to come forth and take up a notion and be an example. Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Assistant Dean, Chitkara University, introduced and encouraged students to register with the DAPO app –an app for registering volunteers as DRUG ABUSE PREVENTION OFFICER. Col. C Jhamb, Director, Admin addressed the students and raised the allures of the occasion. Under the able guidance of Ms. Neelam Verma, Programme Coordinator NSS, induced nearly 200 students to come forth and be a part of the great cause.
