NSS Chitkara University screens ‘The Tashkent Files’ to commemorate Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri’s Death Anniversary
On January 11, 2023, the National Service Scheme (NSS) of Chitkara University, Punjab organized a film screening to commemorate the death anniversary of Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, India’s second President. The film, “The Tashkent Files,” provided the NSS volunteers with an opportunity to delve deeper into the life and legacy of the renowned leader.
Through the screening of “The Tashkent Files,” the volunteers gained a better understanding of Shastri Ji’s contributions to India’s Green and White Revolutions and his efforts to uplift the poor and marginalized communities.
